The Americas Table Tennis Committee for the Disabled

About ATTC

The Americas Table Tennis Committee for the Disabled (ATTC) has been created in 2001.

It is the regional subcommittee of the International Paralympic Table Tennis Committee (IPTTC) in our continent.

Among their functions are those of:

SUPPORT

To work as an information center for countries of the region with regard to international events, managements, rankings, selections for Paralympic Games and World Championships, rules and regulations as well as procedures.

DIFFUSION

ATTC has the mission to spread the table tennis sport in the region with special emphasis in those countries which does not practice it actively or that does not have knowledge of the made activities.

DEVELOPMENT

One of the of ATTC main reason is to offer service and support to nations in our region.
The tools to do it are seminaries, conferences and programs of development among others.

REPRESENTATION

Our Committee represents the interests of the American nations to the IPTTC Executive Committee, but also to the IPTTC subcommittees, where the American region is represented at all levels.
These nexuses make good roundtrip communication possible, allowing the fluid of the information.
On the other hand ATTC represents table tennis in the America Paralympic Committee (APC).
